Learn To Surf
Never surfed before? No problem, we cater to all abilities from complete novices to experienced surfers.
Learning to surf is something you have to do if you’re visiting Australia. It can be difficult, and often takes a lot of time & commitment.
But here at Australian Surf Tours, we know that with the right coaching methods; access to the latest equipment; and the perfect waves on your doorstep…it actually only takes us 4 weeks to turn you into a skilled surfer!
We’ve proven this time and time again over the past 10 years, with hundreds of our guests starting out as complete beginners (some can’t even swim well), and becoming competent wave-riders in less than 4 weeks.
Nothing is better than time in the water so you will be surfing for between 3-5 hours a day over two sessions. You’ll also get filmed so we can look at your technique in video correction sessions, we’ll take you Street-boarding so you can refine your turning style and learn about speed generation, and we’ll also help you understand your equipment with a trip to the local Byrne Surfboard factory.
By the end of your 4 week stay, you’ll be in the best shape you can possibly be to continue your surfing dream.

Our Surf Camp
Rooms are shared with a maximum of three people in each room, and we are located right across the road from the beach. The town centre is a two minute walk making everything super convenient and enabling stress free living, and we are only 1 hour from Sydney’s city centre…the perfect location!
Either stay in our Surf House or one of the self-contained suites with free access to high speed WIFI, a kitchenette and ensuite.
The beds are big comfortable king singles and we have an on-site restaurant and bar where you will be served a daily buffet style breakfast (it’s amazing) to get you ready for a full day of surfing.
